Sports Centre Duty Manager - 10 - 25 hours per week

Our adjoining Sports Centre requires a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facility during it's opening hours, delivering a high quality and safe experience for all who visit the Centre.
This role involves acting as first point of contact for all sports facility visitors, and as such you must be ready to communicate with a diverse range of clients, including members of the public, children and young people and other user groups. You will be responsible for dealing with enquiries and bookings and assisting with other administrative tasks as directed. The Duty Manager supports the Sports Centre Manager to ensure the safety of the public and service users and there will also be some physical aspects to the role including the setting up and taking down of equipment.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic with proven customer service skills and an interest in the sport and leisure industry is essential. This position involves shift working between the core hours of Monday - Friday 3 pm - 10 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday (8am - 6pm).
