PE Teacher

The Role
We are recruiting an energetic and passionate PE Teacher to work through in a Ofsted Rates ‘Good’ Secondary School in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people through physical education, promoting fitness, teamwork, and a love for sport. Working with diverse groups of students, you’ll deliver engaging lessons and contribute to a vibrant school community. This is a full 360 role.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4
• Teach a range of sports and physical activities, adapting lessons to suit different abilities and needs
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and healthy lifestyles
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
• Manage classroom and equipment safety, ensuring a secure and enjoyable learning experience
• Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, or events as required by the school

What we are looking for
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching PE at secondary level (or strong NQT credentials)
• A passion for sport and physical education, with the ability to motivate and engage students
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage classes and collaborate with staff
• A dynamic and adaptable approach, with a commitment to fostering students’ physical and personal growth
